Game Brief


"Solitaire" (Jie Long) is known as "Fantan" in English. The gameplay starts with 7, and then cards are arranged in order, so it is also called "Arranging Sevens" (Pai Qi). After playing the seven, you pass by connecting the remaining cards in sequence. The feature of this game lies in the skill of playing cards. See how to play cards so that you cover the fewest cards while forcing others to cover the most cards to win! In addition to the normal gameplay, there are also loop and break dragon modes. It is a game suitable for all ages.

Game Methods


In real life, Fantan requires at least three people to play. However, in "Fantan", you can start a game at any time (computers will fill in for missing players). At the start of each game, players take turns acting as the Dealer in order (the Dealer in the game is a "Virtual Dealer" and does not affect points or card comparison rules). After the Dealer cuts the deck, the dealing order is decided counter-clockwise based on the cut card's points, and the suit of the cut card determines which suit's seven is played first. Cards are dealt clockwise. After everyone receives 13 cards (including the computer), the player holding the seven of the suit determined by the cut card plays first (playing that seven). The game proceeds counter-clockwise. All players take turns playing or covering cards until no one has any cards left. The detailed gameplay instructions are as follows:
  • Playing Cards
    • The order of playing cards is to arrange poker cards of the same suit starting from 7, with A and K as the ends (depending on the rules), arranging them one by one in numerical order.
  • Covering Cards
    • If the poker cards in hand cannot continue the suit on the table, or cannot be played according to the rules, the player decides to perform a covering action. Only one card can be covered at a time.
  • Winning and Losing
    • When a player is the first to play all the cards in their hand, that player is the first place. At this time, points will be added or deducted based on the number of cards remaining in each player's hand.

Scoring Method

  • Game Betting:
    • The player starting the game can customize the bet multiplier, and the game is based on this. (To ensure fairness, the system will not record wins and losses for the computer)

  • General Calculation:
    • Suppose you participate in a game with a bet of 10. All players take turns playing or covering cards until no one has any cards left. After calculating the points of the covered cards and extra points for each player, if your result is -2, you must pay 2 x 10 = 20 points, which will be distributed by the system to the winning players (there can be 1~3 winners per round).
  • Extra Points Situations:
    • Clear Hand (脫手) +60 If a player has no covered cards when completing a hand, it means all cards in hand were successfully played. This is called Clear Hand (脫手).
    Thirteen Covers (十三蓋) The points for the player's covered cards become positive points.
    Last Card Seven (尾張七) +120 If the last card played by a player is 7, it is called [Last Card Seven (尾張七)]. Since Last Card Seven is definitely a Clear Hand, an extra 20 points (sic, likely +120 based on table) can be obtained in point settlement.

    Cut Dragon (斬龍) +5

    Opening a Table


    The player who starts the game is called the Table Master in the system. The Table Master can decide the bet multiplier, minimum round limit, and set a password or message for the table, so friends or players with similar playing habits can join your table.

    Joining a Table


    After players log in to the "iTaiwan Fantan" game lobby and select a suitable hall, they can click to enter that game hall. Inside the hall, players can select:

    * Any empty seat, to immediately join a game that lacks players (Pai Ka).
    * Any empty table, to immediately enter the opening settings screen.
    * Press Immediate Start, to immediately join a game that lacks players (Pai Ka).
    * Press Auto Match, to immediately join a game that lacks players (Pai Ka).

    PS. Players can enter any table with less than four people, but the prerequisite is to have at least 10 times the current round's bet per card. Also, the table must have no password restriction, or if it has a password, the entering player must possess the password.

    Avatar Selection

    Changing Nickname


    When players apply to become a "iTaiwan Fantan" member, the modification method is the same whether you have an official nickname via full application or a temporary nickname via quick application.
